What is Acroyoga?

Acroyoga is a partner based acrobatics practice that is accessible to a wide range of abilities. There are always two or more people involved. A base is a person connected to the ground supporting other people. A flyer is a person who the base is supporting.

How do I get there by public transportation? How’s parking?

There is ample parking in the adjacent on site lot for a daily rate of $20/day. In-and-out privileges are not included.

What is the schedule?

Registration on each day starts at 9:00am. Please arrive on time to get checked in, and get your wristband prior to the group warm up. Classes will begin promptly at 10:00am.

Friday has two 3 hour intensive sessions and time for jamming at the end of the day. Saturday and Sunday each have four 75 min class sessions and time for jamming at the end of the day Saturday evening.

What’s for lunch? Can I bring my own lunch?

You are encouraged to bring outside food to the event to participate in the lunch and learns. Food deliveries are not allowed (they will not be let in) but there will be a 2 hour lunch break daily to leave the event and grab food. There are a variety of food options a 15-minute walk from the event center, including Mendocino Farms, Chipotle, and Whole Foods. Alternatively, you’re welcome to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy it at the nearby Bay Meadows Park, just a 5-minute walk away.

If you drove, please note that in-and-out privileges are not included in the parking fee.

Water bottles are ok and we will have refill stations with filtered water available.

What do I need to bring?

  • sandals/slip on shoes (for walking to the bathroom)
  • snacks and lunch
  • a reusable water bottle
  • sunscreen so you can enjoy lunch outside
  • a good attitude!

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable, stretchy, athletic clothes. Typically tight fitting clothes work best. If you wear a loose shirt please tuck it into your bottoms. Avoid zippers, excessively baggy clothes, or slippery fabrics. Bring layers, the weather can change frequently.

No shoes! Acro is often performed barefoot. Please ensure your feet are clean, toenails are trimmed, and any wounds are covered with a bandaid or sock. Socks with grips can be worn if you do not like to be barefoot. Please wear sandals or slip on shoes when leaving your mat for eating, restroom, etc.

I want to come but I can’t afford it- is there financial aid or work-trade?

We truly want everyone who wants to attend ADC be able to - regardless of their financial situation. If you experience financial hardship for any reason, but would still like to participate, we have limited opportunities for discounted tickets in exchange for participation in work trade. Work-trade applications closed July 8, 2024.

What is your refund policy?

This event is non-refundable. Please transfer your ticket to another person if you are unable to make the event.

Exceptions can be made if you test positive for Covid-19 just prior to, or on the day of the event. Please contact aly@acrowithaly.com if you have a positive Covid-19 test. Refunds may take up to 10 days to process.

Are tickets transferable?

You may resell /transfer your ticket to another person up to Wednesday July 10th midnight for a $10 fee. Tickets acquired through work-trade agreements are non-transferable.

You MUST complete ticket transfer and payment in the app. Do NOT send money directly to a person in exchange for a ticker transfer or you will end up paying twice. Click here to transfer your ticket.

Will participants be required to be vaccinated against Covid-19?

There is no vaccination requirement for Covid-19 this year. Wearing a mask at this event is optional.

**Event organizers are continuously monitoring the local regulations and mask protocols are subject to change at any time.

Do I need to be flexible/strong to do Acroyoga?

No! Acroyoga is for EVERY-body. Accommodations can be made to make the practice comfortable and accessible for your current flexibility and strength.

I’m a total beginner! Can I still join?

Yes! Acroyoga is for EVERY-body. Accommodations can be made to make the practice comfortable and accessible for you.

Do I need to bring a partner?

You do not need to bring a partner as participants without a partner will be grouped during each acro session according to their level. You are more than welcomed to bring your own partner(s).

Can I bring my children?

While Acro can be a great family activity, this event is 18+. Children under 18 will not be able to participate or remain onsite at this event as our insurance does not cover their safety.

If you have an infant that needs to breastfeed during the event they may come onsite for feeding. We will have a private area for you and your infant to breastfeed.

Where should I stay?
