Jason is an engineer by trade and an acrobat by passion. His analytical brain works to break down skills into manageable chunks and find progressions that mimic the same body feeling for both base and flyer. He is primarily focused on Icarian and standing skills, but any time he can play with friends is a good time. He comes from a competitive sports background including polevaulting and soccer which has taught him the importance of efficient body movement and communication for skill improvement and injury prevention. He is based and teaching in Portland, OR and thrives on finding the best way to communicate with each and every student, no cue is one size fits all. When he isn’t teaching you can find him coming up with new choreography for acro performances, rock climbing or skiing by Mt. Hood.
